Dr. Karl Saunders, president of Orthopaedic Associates of Zanesville and Jiu Jitsu enthusiast, recently hosted the Magno Gamma Ohio Seminar. The seminar took place on August 8 at OAZ’s new facility on Bell St. It featured Brazilian jiu jitsu black belt Magno Gamma of New Your City’s Renzo Gracie Academy.

Dr. Saunders is the owner and founder of Saunix Jiu Jitsu and is a black belt in Kachido Aiki Jitsu and a purple belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (BJJ). As a physician, Dr. Saunders is an advocate of the idea that keeping your body in shape is a good way to keep your bones and joints healthy as well.
